Applied Kinesiology - Understanding Body Language
Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a holistic examination and therapy method based on manual testing of muscles. AK enables the search for triggers for acute and recurring complaints. The causes can be far removed from the symptom and there can be complex interrelationships. The testing usually includes three areas (Triad of Health): the structure (e.g. joints, muscles), the biochemistry (e.g. metabolic disorders, toxin exposure, allergies) and the psyche (emotional state, stress, etc.). The muscle tests provide information about the general condition, the muscle, the associated meridians and organs. Diagnostic stimuli enable further diagnoses. Organ dysfunctions can sometimes be discovered before anything becomes visible in the laboratory or through imaging procedures. Therapeutic measures are also immediately tested for success. AK enables diagnostic connections to be made in order to initiate individually optimized and sustainable therapy.
